MetaCreations MetaStream DXTransform Demo

DirectAnimation's ability to progressively download complex models using MetaCreations' MetaStream technology provides the end user with higher performance and the ability to see content before it is fully downloaded.

Different models are provided for you to browse by selecting them above. In the top left corner of the screen, you should be able to see information about each model.

X-Files (model files with a .x extension) can also contain streamable content. The models above are MetaStream files (.mts extensions). They also appear as X-Files in the same directory as this demo. To use them, just enter the same filename you see in the top-left corner in the text box below, but replace the extension with 'x' and click Test this File.

Below, you can use local files with this demo! If you have your own MetaStream (or X-) files, click Browse and find a file to test. Then click Test this File to see your own file. You can even enter your own URLs to models that you know exist!
